Polly Preston is the chief resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She came to Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital as a prospective pediatric surgery fellow.

Polly came to Seattle to tour Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital. She scrubbed in on a few surgeries with Arizona and they had lunch together.
However, at the end of the day, Alex overheard her telling someone on the phone that she had spent the day listening to Arizona talk about Alex Karev.
Career[]
Dr. Polly Preston is the chief surgical resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Declaring pediatric surgery as her specialty, she was courted by several pediatric surgery fellowship programs including Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital, Johns Hopkins Hospital, USC Medical Center, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
During her residency, Dr. Preston has built an impressive résumé and reputation. She's also published three articles.
