I think we are to presume she still works at the hospital, just off screen, much like they did with Nurse Rose in season 5. Creating a note or something about it would bring more attention to her not appearing and undermine that assumption, rather than clarify things (since we don't really have extra information to give).
You know, I have made over 100,000 edits to this wiki in the last five and a half years. I have spent hours and hours of my life, typing and coding and proofreading pages. I have written THOUSANDS of pages for this wiki. Tooniee and I took this wiki from failing to thriving in very little time. We have worked together as a team across Shondland, doing everything we could to promote all the Shondaland shows we love so that others can find them and love them as much as we do. And then you come along. You add some pictures to some pages, change words to synonyms, and now you're the "top contributor" to a bunch of pages I wrote in their entirety. And whenever I point out what you're doing and tell you it's pedantic and pointless and sometimes just rude, you play dumb. You pretend that you have no idea what you've done, even when you've been told before. You act like you are the police around here, checking every edit I make or Tooniee makes, disregarding how we've been doing things for the last five years, usually with great care and deliberation. I stay up every Thursday night for hours, making sure everyone looking for a song that was in an episode or the name of an actor or what exactly was wrong with that patient knows it as soon as humanly possible. And it just feels like you've swooped in and want all the glory for a thriving community, when most of your edits are insignificant or even counterproductive. I have to stop what I'm doing sometimes during that rush time, to check on what you're doing, because you still haven't proven yourself trustworthy. Can you see how this would be irritating to me and how this message might upset me? Or are you just totally oblivious to what you're doing?
I'm completely sorry about all of this. I do not want any forgiveness. I know that I have been trouble for you guys since the start. When I began editing, I dived in, not reading any policies or anything. I know that I was a pain. It hurts that I am this much of a nusiance to you guys. That isn't me pitying myself. That may as well be the truth. I have been rude to you. I initially didn't have any respect for you. I played dumb. I have drained every last bit of joy that brings you here. I bring you stress. You both have given me warnings that I completely ignored or that I disregarded, because I thought that they meant nothing and that you two had no brains in your heads. This is all completely true. You are not in any wrong here. I am.
For quite some time, I was rooting to become an admin around here. I then began to realize how this wiki would crumble to the ground without you and Tooniee. I don't want to be an admin anymore. I just want to be a plain old editor.
And just so you know, I don't want to "swoop in", I don't want all the glory. You two brought this wiki from bottom to top. You guys work miracles together. You guys deserve every ounce of glory this wiki gains. Your dedication and Tooniee's shows how you guys are great people, with a deep commitment to doing things that you love and spreading the joy of Shondland. It takes lots of patience, and commitment to bring a wiki to thriving success.
I seriously do hope that at least some of my edits here have been helpful. I know lots of them have been meaningless, but I hope some of them have brought value to this wiki. I've added lots of content from Notes From The Nurses' Station, espically Debbie's page. I recently added content on Jo's page relating to Paul finding her.
From here on out, I will completely change. I will look through all my messages and scan the warnings you gave me, and I will apply them to my editing. I won't make as much edits anymore. If I see something that isn't on the wiki already, (e.g. aliases and such), I'll add it. This wiki belongs to you guys, not me.
I do hope for your trust. That won't happen immediately because of my history, but I hope that someday, I will gain it.
I just want to weigh in a little bit. This wiki does not belong to us in any way. The point of a Wiki is to make it an open community for everyone to visit and freely edit.
That being said, it is our job to keep this place nice and clean and accurate. The majority of your edits just feels a bit insignificant, as Nerdfightergirl pointed out. That requires us to check every edit you make, which takes away from the time we have to edit. Right now, I feel like half of my time here is spent monitoring other people's edits, mainly yours. I can't even imagine what it feels like to Nerdfightergirl since she's on the same time zone, especially when there's a ton of new information coming in with new episodes. Especially in those times, please be considerate of the other work we (or mainly she) have (has) to do.
For example, adding the hideaddbutton is not a crime, but you see how that results in a huge workload for us just checking your edits. So that is why Nerdfightergirl has asked you to combine it with at least a significant edit, because if we're gonna have to check it (which we have to anyway), it might as well be worth it to the page (and us). The same goes for the references. The old system is fine, but the new one is just better. So, change it if you're on the page and working on something else, but don't go actively seeking the old system as your main job. That's not a fun job and it just takes a lot of your (and our) time for a basically insignificant change to the page.
This is not a call to stop editing, but please make significant edits. At this moment, you put in a lot of work and time but the wiki barely benefits. That's a shame. Think and watch before you edit a page (for example: undoing someone else's edit on Lexie's page for no reason just minutes ago, or changing pictures ). Know your personal limits and stay clear from things you know aren't your strong suit.
A particular pet peeve of mine is your changing of infobox pictures. As much as we try, there are no clear-cut rules on infobox pictures. Sometimes, when there are just two similar pictures, there's no telling which one is objectively better and you just go with the one you think is best. Somehow, it appears that you have made it a personal sport to change as many infobox pictures as you can, albeit by the rules. That's just unnecessary and it comes across as if you're saying that your view on the pictures is superior. If someone has chosen a picture and it's good and by the rules, leave it.
Thank you for your input. I know I've been a nusiance here and I've added alot to your workload, which I apologize for. It hurts that I have made so much trouble to be this disliked around here. (And Tooniee, I'm sorry about the infobox issue)
Most of my edits are minor. That's why I have a big edit count. I don't do it to pad my edit count, but when I try to make a significant edit, something happens and it changes, (because it's too detailed or some of the info is incorrect, so I don't blame you two for changing it), which used to shatter my confidence, because I then feel that I would create more work for you if I make more signifigant edits that are either too detailed or aren't correct. That's why I tend to stay on the sidelines, just adding photos and updating the systems. This isn't an excuse for my past actions, but I hope it sheds some light on why I don't make as much signifigant edits. This will change.
Recently, (and now), I have began to come out of the woodwork and I made a few signifigant edits. Most recently I've made signifigant edits to Jo Wilson and Debbie's page. I have gotten better as time has gone on. I won't make any minor edits anymore.
From here on-out my activity will decrease, but when I am on, I'll fill in some black spaces on character pages. (History, notes and trivia, etc.)
I do feel absolutely terrible about this, and I can not express my sincere apologies. I have been here for almost one year, which may not have been the best. You two are amazing people that spread the joy of Shondaland all around.
Minor edits are not forbidden at all, so don't feel like we're looking for big edits only. We're stressing the significance. Correcting typos, proofreading articles, etc are all minor edits but they are very helpful when it comes to improving the wiki. Maybe those are things you can look into?
It's fine to ease in. We don't mean to push you take big leaps. Suddenly going around and writing big pieces of prose won't be helpful either.
I was looking through Debbie's blog and one of her posts said that she published her book (most likely the Debbie/Joe book), and she calls herself an author. I've read this post a few times but I'm debating wether I put it in her infobox, since, technically, she is an "author", but I'm wondering if it's a Henry Burton situation where he's called a vascular surgeon but it's a inside joke for the fans.
"To give the viewers some new material during the hiatuses, two webisode series were produced. A third series was produced to look back on the show's history as it was nearing its 300th episode." does the 'third series' include GA-Post Op as well as GA-BTeam?
I could be mistaken which is why i am telling you but during the episode Raj Sen is shown wearing surgery scrubs when telling meredith his favorite band regarding roommates. He is actually a psychiatrist shown and episode or two later he is wearing psychiatry scrubs making it a goof in the episode.
