History[]
Lena came to the hospital after her boyfriend, Griffin, was in a car accident. Believing she was his wife, the doctors updated her on his condition. However, Gayle McColl then arrived and informed them that she was his wife. They were still married, but had split years before and he had been seeing Lena.
She was worried about him, but unable to get more information about his condition because he wasn't family and Gayle asked her to leave. When Griffin woke up after his first surgery, he had no memory of Lena or their relationship. He believed he was still with Gayle. He later had to have a second surgery, during which he died.
