Biography
Born on April 17, 1967 to Erma Jean and Marvin Trammel, Elise grew up together with three siblings in Minneapolis. Elise's maternal descent is of the Songhai people. She studied Film and Acting at the University of Minnesota and earned a BA in Mass Communications.
In 1989, Kimberly married Maurice Oldham, with whom she had two daughters. They divorced in 2005.
