Kelly McCreary plays Maggie Pierce on Grey's Anatomy. Her character also appeared in Grey's Anatomy: B-Team and crossed over to seasons two and three of Station 19.

Biography[]

Kelly was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Geoffrey and Mary McCreary. She first appeared on stage in a 6th-grade musical.[1] In her teenage years, she relocated to New York and attended Barnard College and graduated in 2003.[2] While in college, she appeared in numerous commercials and plays.[source?]

In May 2019, she married Pete Chatmon, whom she met on the set of Grey's Anatomy.[3] In August 2021, Kelly shared on Instagram that they were expecting their first child.[4] In December 2021, they announced that their child had been born two months prior.[5]
