Amy Madigan played Katharine Wyatt in seasons four, five, and six of Grey's Anatomy.

Biography

Madigan was born in Chicago, Illinois to Dolores and John Madigan. She majored in philosophy at Marquette University and piano at The Music Conservatory of Chicago College of Performing Arts. She married actor Ed Harris on 1983 and had a daughter named Lily.

Career

Madigan has starred in many films, but is perhaps better known for her work on Fields Of Dreams. She also starred on HBO's Carnivàle and guest starred as Seattle Grace Hospital's psychiatrist Dr. Katharine Wyatt on ABC's primetime hit drama series Grey's Anatomy. She also appeared with Eric Dane in the film Grey Lady.

Amy is also a singer.
